HOW DO I BUY TICKETS TO YOUR SHOWS?
Please visit our ticket page - but you can also buy tickets at the door!
Please note - there are two types of tickets to buy ahead of time - one is a live, in-person ticket to the Opera House. The other is a livestream only. Please be sure you are selecting the proper one when buying!
WHAT TIME ARE YOUR SHOWS?
Unless otherwise noted, shows begin at 7pm.
HOW DO I WATCH YOUR LIVESTREAMS?
We know it's not always easy to get to a show (we are also grateful to the fans who don't live in the North Country) - so we've made it a goal to make our shows accessible via live-stream. Simply visit our ticket page and purchase a “Live-stream Only” ticket for the show of your choice. Once you purchase, you will receive information via the email you used to purchase the ticket to access the stream. We encourage you to test the link and password as soon as you receive it to help troubleshoot before the show since we are involved in the setup of the shows and may be delayed in seeing your email. If you have any issues with accessing the livestream, please contact edwardsoperahouse@gmail.com for assistance.
HOW DO I GET THE 10% MILITARY DISCOUNT ON TICKETS?
Select the ticket(s) you wish to purchase. When you get to the Checkout page, you'll see a box for a Discount Code in the right hand column. Enter “MILITARY” and hit the “Apply” button and you should see the discount right away. If you have any issues with this, please contact edwardsoperahouse@gmail.com for further assistance.
If buying tickets at the door, valid Military ID is required to receive the discount.
IS THE OPERA HOUSE ACCESSIBLE?
The Opera House is in a historic building on the second floor, we do not have an elevator. We are looking into our options (and funding) for this in the future, however!
ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED AT SHOWS?
Absolutely - if they are able to enjoy the performance and sit through the program. Most of our shows are family-friendly and you can always reach out to us if you have any questions about a particular show.
Also, kids under 12 get to come to shows for free!
I'M AN ARTIST, HOW DO I GET BOOKED TO PLAY THE OPERA HOUSE?
We have a shorter season than many venues and for that reason alone, we are not able to offer shows to everyone who contacts us. Please note, we generally book a year out from the current date.
BEFORE YOU SUBMIT - We ask you to look at our calendar and the acts that we have booked in previous seasons. While we do our best to present a diversity of music and artists, we are looking for artists and bands who gig frequently and play a variety of shows and festivals and/or tour. We look at websites, social media accounts, videos, testimonials, comments, music distribution sites, and the places you are playing. Importantly: if you do not have examples of you performing live, we encourage you hold off and to submit when you do. We want to get a full sense of who you are and how you would perform on our stage - the majority of the performers who play the Opera House stage have been seen live by at least one of the members of the Edwards Arts Council - and those who have not have very compelling performance videos.
The Edwards Arts Council Booking Committee does take many things into account when we prepare to book for the season. If you think you are a good fit based on the information above, send your application to bookingedwardsoperahouse@gmail.com. If you send us your materials, we promise that we will take a look at them and will contact you if we think you are a good fit for our stage. Please understand that we get far more requests than we have slots for and unfortunately cannot respond to all booking inquiries.
